Frank Ocean recently came out and people have been talking about it on Twitter. People have been saying terrible things about him and how they won’t listen to his music anymore because of it. So much respect for Frank Ocean for how he’s handling the situation and for being true to himself.
I apologize that it says “gay” when apparently he didn’t say so— as usual after I got this submission I looked it up on the internet and took other people’s assumptions. He did not explicitly state that he was gay— he could also be bisexual, pansexual, etc.!
I hope people don’t read this incorrectly— they are probably disliked by that person because they’ve done something to be disliked, not because they’re gay…
Yes, I know guys like watching girls make out. No, we’re not going to do it just so you can watch. This also applies to straight girls who enjoy kissing each other (especially when they’re drunk). Yeah, everyone can get a little affectionate and crazy when they’re drinking, but girl make outs at parties shouldn’t happen just so guys can watch.
via Urban Dictionary:
The token gay guy is a stereotype that features in comedy movies, most often chick flicks. He is usually sidekick to the female protagonist, offers fashion and relationship advice and goes shopping with her.
Being transgender is more about gender identity than sexual orientation. (Of course this isn’t applicable to all transgender people, but it’s a misconception that transgender people only become transgender because they are attracted to their same gender.)
