Just because I asked if you had a girlfriend doesn’t mean I’m hitting on you, I’m just wondering… same goes with “Are you going to the dance?” I’M NOT TRYING TO HINT THAT I WANT YOU TO ASK ME
Some people like being single, and some relationships are pretty crappy anyway
Just because I kind of have low self-esteem doesn’t mean I’m going to throw myself at anyone who says they like me!
Very relevant right now as I’m saying goodbye to my boyfriend soon.
Recently I saw someone online say, “Long distance relationships aren’t real relationships, you never see the other person and you will cheat on one another anyway. What’s the point if you never see each other?”
Long distance isn’t easy, but it can be considered a “real” relationship (though I’m not entirely sure what the definition of that is). My relationship is fantastic. Distance has definitely made it stronger. :) Of course, it isn’t for everyone!
Explanation: Some people think that if you are single, that means no one wants you and you must not be worth it/there must be something weird about you. You shouldn’t need to be in a relationship just to feel worthy.
