explanation for korean/plastic surgery ybn:
plastic surgery was a fast-growing industry in korea around 2009. it became so common that almost 30% of korean women between the ages of 20-50 (around 2.4 million women) had had some form of surgery/nonsurgical cosmetic procedure. i know several korean girls who have gotten double-eyelid surgery for their graduation presents, etc.
